Canning Whole Pears

Step 4: Add equal amounts of water and 50% sugar to pears and boil until mixture reaches 200 degrees.

Step 6: Using a funnel to keep the rims clean, add whole pears to jars.

Step 7: add syrup from hot mixture to fill the jars, leaving 1/2 inch to the rim and then put on sterilized lids. you are almost done :-)
